Planned breedings, what to expect from a Whindancer puppy, and how to bring one home.
Two Fall litters planned
I will do two breedings this Fall. We should have puppies around the middle of September, ready to go home in November. Both pairings were chosen to complement each other in structure and temperament.
If you are interested, please make a visit if you haven't done so, and leave a deposit of $100 once we agree this is the breed that fits your family and lifestyle. A visit helps to place the right puppy with the right family.
The Head Start Program
Every Whindancer litter is raised on a puppy-development program designed by Wheaten breeder Karli Mueller. From the first days of life, our puppies receive brief, gentle Early Neurological Stimulation exercises at critical developmental windows — the goal is a puppy who handles stress, adapts to new experiences, and learns new behaviors more readily later on.
Long before they leave us, puppies meet new people, surfaces, sounds, and environments so the transition to a new family at 9–10 weeks is smooth and confident. Each puppy is temperament-tested at 7–8 weeks so we can match the right puppy to the right family, based on lifestyle, experience, and expectations. We also begin crate and leash training before placement, so the first nights and first walks at home are easier on everyone.

A Visit Comes First
I don't sell to people I haven't met before. A visit here is the only way to reserve a puppy from an upcoming litter, and to talk in detail about grooming and the care a Wheaten needs.
Spay / Neuter Contract
All puppies are placed on a spay/neuter contract — they may not be bred. All parents are AKC registered, and copies of every health-test result on the parents go home with each family.
Generations of Health Testing
Parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have been screened for protein-losing diseases, hips x-rayed for OFA, and eyes checked for PRA.
Lifelong Mentorship
Every Whindancer family has access to me for the life of their dog — grooming, training, health questions, all of it.
